Moving Day

For those of you who are really observant, you will notice that it is raining, and quite hard, I might add.
You may also notice that this shot was taken at the turtle's level.
Yep! Got quite wet taking this shot. And, I was in town so everyone driving by must have thought I was nuts laying on the ground to get this shot!
I have noticed many turtles on the move today. It seems that there is always one day a year when they all come out of hiding to lay their eggs in the gravel on the side of the road. Today was that day.

Great shot and brave of you to go face to face with a snapper. Sharon and I wrestled with one yesterday, trying to coax it off the road. We finally prevailed but the turtle put up a good snapping fight.
