I wanted to rush out to take photos in the early morning fog today but chores kept me home. I was so pleased that there was still a hint of fog to give the background a dreamy effect this afternoon when I had to run to town.
This lone tree was actually quite ghostly, but I loved the way it popped off the page with a simple auto fix in Photoshop Elements. The sky haloed the tree at the same time as an added bonus while the background remains hidden in the fog.
Hi.. We're paired for this week's get pushed challenge. I've observed that most of your pics are bnw. So for this week I'd like you to capture some colours..Take any colourful image of your surroundings, minimum two primary colours, and post it :)
Hope you enjoy this challenge!
@as_you_read_it Thank you! This past month was a black and white theme. I am so eager to get back to colour so your challenge is absolutely perfect! Thank you.
I like the composition a lot, Wendy, but I don't see the 'halo' as a positive. I have noticed that I can sometimes get an effect like that with over-processing, but I wouldn't know how to create it deliberately.
Hope you enjoy this challenge!
