The title of this photo is a quote from Bill Vaughan.
Bill Vaughan was an American columnist and author who wrote a syndicated column for the Kansas City Star from 1946 until his death in 1977. His folksy aphorisms (published in his "Starbeams" feature) are often collected in books and on Internet sites. Bill Vaughan died at age 61 of lung cancer.
Photo was taken early one morning when I normally leave the house at 6:30 a.m. to pick up the summer students in Cornwall but there was so much thick fog this morning that I just knew that I had to take the opportunity to leave extra early for photo opportunities.
I was expecting barn and river scenes. This doe was a surprise!
Sometimes I wish I had a longer telephoto - (but it probably would not have been mounted when she wandered by so it doesn't matter - LOL!)
