This girl seems to be the one who keeps us doing nightly barn checks the longest. But, she also always delivers triplets and does an awesome job raising them.
You can count her three babies just behind her as she poses for the camera.

We raise Rideau Arcott sheep which is a breed that was developed right here in Canada. They are bred to be prolific and triplets are not unusual. They can even have four or five lambs though most shepherds do not allow that many lambs to stay with the mom since it would be just too hard on her to feed that many. They can easily raise three though - and do a wonderful job with just twins or triplets.
@farmreporter Wow - that is really interesting. Goodness, I would have thought three was a real struggle ... Hope your animals figure in your challenge:)
