Junco In The Oak Tree by farmreporter

Junco In The Oak Tree

The wild songbirds are really amazing creatures. They do not have the ability to store fat in their bodies so they need to eat enough every day to get through the long frigid nights we are having at the moment.
I am sure that many do not make it every night (especially with our -30C (-22F) that we have been having lately) but I do my part to make sure the bird feeders are always full so they can go to bed with full bellies.
This shot was taken from inside the house looking out while the Junco soaked up the sun.
Great capture. He does look cold. Thank you for making good available for him.
