The Town of Alexandria holds a Festival of Lights with displays from all the local merchants, schools, associations, and individuals who wish to participate.
It draws visitors from near and far. it is a beautiful tradition.
It takes at least a month for all the displays to get set up - and much longer for them to come back down!
For my get pushed challenge from Joan @joansmor who requested shots of leftover outdoor Christmas decorations still hanging around. "You know the person who hasn't taken down their lights, the bedraggled wreath at the door or the blowup display sitting sadly in a pile. You know you've seen them."
Oh maybe I will get there next Christmas as well as Upper Canada Village :)
At least you guys still have snow up there. We have fog and mud down this way.
@joansmor
I haven't seen the leprechaun yet - but then Glengarry is very Scottish with very few Irish around.
Will keep my eye open for him though - and even share the pot of gold if I find it!
I actually took these photos on Wednesday but just put them into a collage now.
One more to go!
