Macro Lilac by farmreporter

Macro Lilac

Week 12 – March 19th
For week 12 of the 52 Week Challenge which is Technical: Macro
Life is in the details. Get in close and show us the details we usually miss. You don't need a macro lens to shoot a macro shot.
This is macro ... honest it is. Lilac flowers are composed of hundreds of little flowers and florets that are so tiny and bunched together that they look like a miniature bride's bouquet.
My lilacs are just beginning to bloom so this is what I got rather than a full mass of tiny flowers in full glory.
It may not be the typical macro but it is about as macro as my lens will allow me to do! So I am going to tag it for the macro flower challenge while I am at it.

great details to show. I think I'm going to take a page out of your book and go back to complete the couple weeks I didn't do.

I really like this. We just planted a couple of new lilac bushes and they are currently in flower. The fragrance is amazing! And I love the way they are many many flowers on each flower head.

@francoise
There was a period of almost two months when we were lambing that I was unable to participate in 365 much. I really enjoy the 52 week challenge and want to get all of them done this year.
