The Blue Hour by farmreporter

The Blue Hour

An experiment using HDR during the blue hour to see if using different exposures late can help bring out details in the foreground.
It can, but I found that the photo took on a daytime appearance when I brought in details. So, yes, this is a heavily processed attempt to create a blue hour shot.
This is three shots merged together.
Camera is still sick so I am still working solely with JPEG which does not help either!
Had fun doing it and learned a lot for next time so not a total waste of time.

HDR is great but very easily overdone - but if you get the balance just right it can be fantastic - love the colours here

It's hard to take almost dark photos, I have tried but can never manage, I blame my camera!
