They say a tornado did not hit Eastern Ontario but it was just some strong winds.
But, with the number of barns that were knocked down, roofs torn off, and trees broken; I beg to differ.
This barn held 130 sheep when it fell down. Most sheep escape unscathed. There were 15 sheep that had to be rescued from under the debris (dangerous work) and an estimated 30 sheep killed including the mother of the youngest lambs and the primary ram.
That was one strong wind!
Not our barn in case you were wondering.
Hi, we're staying in Toronto from 23rd, except when we visit the falls on weds 26 and stay in Welland for two nights to visit old friend not seen for 20 years. Meeting up with Vikki on Friday or Saturday hopefuly. Unfortunately no time to travel east to your area as we leave on the Sunday. I know it is a stupidly short time span to visit a country for just a week, but no holiday leave left!! EMAIL is jackiejak58@gmail.com

Oh well - it was just a thought. I definitely cannot go to the Falls as school is back in. And, it does not look good for that Saturday as I am on course that day.
You picked a wonderful part of the country to stop and see - and maybe the leaves will be changing colour by then which will give you lots of photo opportunities.
Have a great time!
