Repeat That, Please

Tina @tstb13 challenged me to make a B&W photo with in it repeating lines or subjects.
I drove by this old barn for three days thinking that it was absolutely perfect for this week's challenge.
Had to wait until today to take the photo though since I cannot stop a bus with a load full of students to snap a pic. I hate it when responsibility gets in the way of having fun!
Thank you for the challenge, Tina @tstb13. I haven't had a whole lot of time for photography lately but I really had your challenge on my mind and knew that this would work perfectly for it.
By the way, this photo shows up huge on my screen - is it a regular size on yours?

Well done, Wendy.

Great image. Did the barn smile at you each time you passed with a load of kids?

Well worth waiting for, a fabulous image.

Hi Wendy - I'm afraid I didn't see this image when I put up your get- pushed challenge. I added it to your lovely photo of the rather mad dog!! I hope you found it. Please let me know if you prefer something else. Cheers Rob

what a great image - and how frustrating when you kept passing it

Wendy this is so great for the challenge. The size is perfect.

@robz
Yes - I did see your tilt shift challenge to me. This photo was not posted until after you issued the challenge which is why you did not see it!
You did get my challenge to you did you not?

Absolutely perfect for the challenge!

@farmreporter HiWendy - yes I did - I replied that it would be good. I had a question though. I can't set the aperture on my camera - but I can read what it will be after I put in the settings I want to use. So if it gives me a low F stop no. that is a wide aperture isn't it? And that will produce a shallow depth of field? This is what I am aiming for? :)

@robz
That is exactly what you are aiming for! What you may want to do to get a lower number (bigger wide open aperture) then is to set your shutter speed faster or set your ISO to a lower number.
But then, you probably already know that!
Rob - if you cannot do flowers, then any still life will do with the same conditions - natural light, etc,

Nice black and white with lots of texture

@farmreporter Thanks Wendy - I can't change my shutter speed either - but I just had a go at it and the lowest Fstop I could get was3.2. I could probably get it lower if I did a high key shot - not one of my favourite forms though. But I could go that way if you think it would fit the challenge better - actually I'll just do it and see. And I've got a lovely bunch of old dried flowers!! Cheers Rob

@robz
Okay - how about just doing a still life?

@farmreporter I'll upload what I ended up with - I quite liked the end result but I'm not sure it's exactly what your challenge required. :)

You got some repetition there! Good eye!
