I have been busily attempting to photograph birds in flight lately with no success.
I stalked these red wing black birds that were hiding in the weeds, hoping to get them in flight.
Only problem is that they took off low over the water - but I liked the effect anyway!
Isn't photography fun when things like this happen - lol!
I knew they were red wing blackbirds. I had grandparents who lived across the street from the St. Lawrence and we'd walk on the path next to the water. I saw many of those birds in the rushes. This gives me fond memories.
