Remembering the Past

There are a few farm families in the area who plant a small field of grain in order to hold old time threshing parties.
This field has been cut and stooked, and will be threshed using antique threshing machines this weekend.
There will be lots of beer on hand once the work is done - it promises to be a hot weekend so a cold beer will be appreciated by all!
Great capture and lovely country scene. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Nice rustic scene. Seems like a lot of extra work just to have a party.

Hi again Wendy. I'm your get-pushed partner this week - I just saw a post which was a wonderful ICM image - it was so very controlled and you could see the original image incorporated into the final result - so it had quite a painterly feel to it. I'm sure you have played with them before but I was wondering if you would like to have another go and try to produce a controlled painterly ICM? If you've done heaps of these and would like something else just give me a yell!! Cheers Rob
