This week Vera @vera365 has challenged me to a back-to-basics technical task where I am to take a picture where a dark subject takes most of the photo and still have the picture exposed correctly (The automatic metering will try to overexpose it).
Also for the August Animal challenge which is black animals.

I liked both of them, so I am going to try to do your second challenge of minimalist with the subject off to the side tomorrow!

Very nice! I did my challenge, but then we got out of town to the place with no reception, and I failed to post it. I posted it now - so that you see I didn't just sit it out ! :)
