Fire and Ice

Sally Ings @salza challenged me to photograph opposites. It took me a while to figure out how to show hot and cold.
Fire and ice it is!
Also for the 52 Week Challenge of Opposites which says, "Opposites give us visual contrast, and when two objects contrast in a big way they give the viewer something to think about."

Your image makes me feel warm, cosy and safe. The lit candles and slightly melted ice says to me that time is passing. Lovely!
