First Snowfall of the Season by farmreporter

First Snowfall of the Season

Well, it is not technically the first snowfall, but this is the first one that may stay for the rest of the winter.
But then ... it may not as well. We are expecting warming temperatures and rain. Maybe even freezing rain.
The only hope I have is that it will be a snow day tomorrow and there will not be school tomorrow (it's not just the kids who hope like this, LOL!) Then there will be no buses either and I get to sleep in!
Wonderful capture

sneaky friend wants to sleep in... For me, if kids stay from school is not ideal... :P

Pretty shot Wendy! Sorry to be so late with my response to your challenge (a difficult concept but I will do my best!) but here is my challenge for you...... Could you do something with the following quote “The only joy in the world is to begin”? If it’s not to your liking please let me know?

@farmreporter Thanks Wendy. I will keep track of the votes for the composite which includes Dale Morano's post from June. According to Dale, he finished processing it recently. Since there's no time limit on when the components of a composite are taken I felt it was within the "rules" to select it. But yes, if he wins and there's no other posting after this I'll give it to the picture that garners the next highest vote. I appreciate your diligence!

I like the Christmas lights and the pouring snow. I don't expect to see much if any of that here this winter.
