I tend to give out get pushed challenges that I want to do or learn and Pointillism is no exception.
The 52 Week Challenge said "Bucket List: Do something from your photography Bucket List, something you’ve always wanted to try. It could be a technique, a location, a style...anything."
So, tonight I went out to the chicken coop, set my ISO as high as I could, made the other adjustments to shutter speed and aperture, and took a bunch of photos.
I liked this one the best, (although there were a few others that worked out well also).
This is also the shot I used to crop into a portrait.
Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pointillism
I kinda think I am cheating by using the same photo session to knock off two 52 week challenges but it is getting late in the year and I really need to get them done! So - we do what we have to!
