Kathy @randystreat challenged me to take a photo of my first day back to work.
Well .... since school has yet to start because of lockdown and since I gave my notice to drive school bus when it does start because of my health, I thought that a shot of one of my get well cards would explain my new job best.
Was so pleased when the photo of one of my garden ornaments came up as a screen saver.
Got to love it when things come together!
Also for the 52 Week Challenge that said : New Year’s Resolution:
New Year, New Challenge, New decade, New resolutions ... to get and keep healthy!
I'm sorry that you had to be in ill health to quit work (and I do hope it causes no significant financial burdens to do so). But you created a lovely still life with the card and the screen saver. Hope you feel better soon.
Very beautiful. Get well soon! I am not sure how much you enjoyed bus riding for the school, but think of no longer doing it gives you some more time to photograph. :D
Hi Wendy! Happy New Year - so glad to be partnered with you again. I'll give B on B my best shot!
For your challenge, I'd like to set "The Blue Hour" but as you have snow and ice to contend with, that might not be practical?
As an alternative, how about a monochrome (indoors or outside) that is not B & W?
@valpetersen
Blue hour should work even with the snow and ice. As a matter of fact, it may even be 'bluer' than without!
Will give that a try - thank you!
Sorry you e been ill & had to alter your lifestyle. The school bus driving sounds fun but I’m sure you will find something you like to work at instead. Take care & do t do too much to start with.
I guess this could be considered work for me now!!
