The Waterfront Trail at Lamoureaux Park in Cornwall, Ontario is such a pretty spot no matter what time of the year it is.
The trees were sparkling today following yesterday's freezing rain with the beautiful sun shining on them.
I have always liked the way the trees line both sides of this arrow straight path to the Civic Centre.
For Flash of Red this week, we are to pay attention to lines, shape or space and how those elements balance out a picture, draw emphasis to the subject or their proportion within the picture in order to get a sense or a feeling of our subject in a new and creative way.
We are asked to choose one of those elements and watch how they work with our subject and what kinds of feelings they bring out. I chose lines.
