The oak leaves were very tenacious this year, only blowing off of the trees in this past week.
So weird to see leaves blowing across the top of the snow!
For the Flash of Red where we are to direct our attention to one of Anne's favorite compositional elements- texture. Black and white photography loves texture because of its great ability to emphasize contrast and contrast is what makes us see a 3D texture on a 2D picture plane.
