Annie @annied challenged me to do some split toning, which I have never done so it was a great challenge to push me to learn a new technique.
The research I did said that the trick with split toning was to keep it subtle, and natural looking. Then, another site said that it can be lots of fun to go overboard.
So - I did. This is a actually a piece of driftwood I found on the beach yesterday. High lights are red, shadows are blue and it is definitely a split tone shot!
A lot of fun to do and a neat concept to know. Thank you!
