Last Flash of Red

Thank you, Ann @olivetreeann , for doing this once again. It was truly a learning experience for me this year.
The last week of Flash of Red’s exercise was to take particular note of shape/form, line, texture, pattern, and light and emphasize them in your photos. We could choose to go minimal, abstract, natural or anything in between.
This is an inversion of a frosted window. I inverted it because I wanted a high key shot with more white than black for this particular spot in my calendar view.
Not as sharp as I was hoping.
Thank you, Ann @olivetreeann! I really enjoyed this exercise this year and worked hard at learning something with each shot.
Looking forward to doing more B&W over the next year!

This creates a very cool effect! I can see what you were going for with something sharper, but I actually like the softness. Makes it more "feathery".

Ditto what Laura said, I like the softness too

It's very pretty how it shows off the fern-like fronds of frost.

The black and white white has a nice effect on the patterns.

Oh I love this, Wendy!

You are welcome Wendy! I was so pleased with how many people felt the same as you did. Lots of positive comments to remember next year when mid-January rolls around and I start planning...

Your calendar looks great, thank you so much for the weekly report to the rest of 365 on what's going on with FOR and what a nice way to finish off the month!
