The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry are actually divided into 6 municipalities, North Stormont, South Stormont, North Dundas, South Dundas, North Glengarry and South Glengarry.
Their combined population is 65,000. South Glengarry, where we live, has 13,500 of these people.
We actually live on the south side of the boundary road between North and South Glengarry putting us into South Glengarry while those who live on the other side of the road are in North Glengarry.
The nearest hamlet to me is Glen Robertson (in North Glengarry) and the nearest town is Alexandria which is also in North Glengarry.
