We try to keep our sheep outdoors as long as we can, only moving them into the barn when snow makes feeding too difficult.
However, we do put lights in their shelter so we can keep an eye on them at night and to keep predators at bay.
Besides, the sheep like the security of lights at night - and it keeps the darkness out.
