Canada's bank note has changed significantly over the years. Iti is no longer printed on paper that can be easily counterfeited but rather on polymer with a ton of security features.
There is raised ink on the large number and on the words "Bank of Canada', the metallic portrait matches the large portrait, and there are maple leaves that border and cross into the large window are just a few of the security features.
I don't like the new money. It tends to stick together, and it melts easily even when it is just in the pocket.
On the plus side, the new security windows do make neat shadows when light shines through them.
And, interestingly enough, I got an error message from PSE 14 when I wanted to do some simple processing like cropping and exposure adjustment. It said "This application does not support the editing of banknote images".
I guess that is just another security feature, lol!
