February Words - Black on Black

This is the old Nikon FE I used in the early 80s BF (before kids).
It still works wonderfully but I am loathe to pay for developing and have no idea how to develop myself.
I may learn to develop once I feel comfortable as a photographer ... but then, I have a funny feeling I will never know enough to feel comfortable. There is just so much to learn!
Wonderful capture Wendy, I also have a film camera which sits stored away.

You're right Wendy. There's always a lot to learn and you don't learn it if you don't have a go at it! I like your black on black treatment.

Good black on black.

It's excellent for control of composition to use film, but the cost is mega!!

What a great BoB

Those were the days when you had to make every shot count, because even if a shot was rubbish you still had to pay for it! We didn’t have the luxury of a delete button. Lovely black on black shot!

It appears to be well used. I take far more photos now that I just download them to the computer.

Ah, a great old camera. I still have my old FM too, and have to agree about the hesitance to throw some film in it.....but then again, there's something great about working to get the shot right the first time on film.
