February Words- Onomatopoeia

I had to first find out what 'onomatopoeia' meant before I could take a photo.
It turns out it is the process of creating a word that phonetically imitates, resembles, or suggests the sound that it describes. Such a word itself is also called an onomatopoeia. Common onomatopoeias include animal noises such as "oink", "meow", "roar" and "chirp". (Wikipedia)
My goodness, who comes up with those words. Great shot to this unable to pronounce word lol

I remember learning this term in high school English.....and now, 50 years later I think it's the first time I've actually heard it used. Thanks for the refresher!
