@streats hey, Ian! Thanks for the fav. I had another shot in mind that was all red leaves but it didn't come out at all how I had conceptualized. Happy with this choice however. Glad you like. Hope you're having/had a great weekend!
For me it's the wood here...I can can feel it in my imagination. Dry. Brittle. The leaf is a temporary...transient...just passing through. The focus line through the leaf, left to right through to the wood is wonderful and perfect for the shot. Well done!
@ericdibosco thanks for taking a look, Eric! I did saturate the color to bring out the gold. Originally I wanted to post this in sepia but went for the oversaturation.
