Wild Parsnip! by fayefaye

Wild Parsnip!

It looks pretty when the sunlight hits it but from what I read it can give some people a rash and some irritation to their eyes! It's starting to go to see which is really quite beautiful! I love the softness of this photo and the colours! Looks great on black!
excellent as always ... fav

You are right, like many other plants in the Umbelliferae family, parsnip is irritating and even toxic. Children can even severely burn their skin on it. But your picture is beautiful, focus is just the best.

An absolute stunner. We call it yarrow here. Have never hear of problems with the plant. Your photo is very impressive. I love seed head shots - and have a patch of lawn now turmed over to long grasses and wild flowers ... it is spring here.
