Twelve spotted skimmer!

As I walk the field I notice that there are less and less dragonflies. I was happy to be able to capture a photo of this twelve spotted skimmer. Fall is setting in and the bugs are leaving. :(

Love this shot and dragonflies. I was at a local pond recently and surrounded by blue, black/white and red/orange dragonflies but only had my cell phone... not enough to get good pics. Love.
