@alijchapman@cindymc@gijsje@brennieb Right ladies, let's all go together! Thanks very much for your lovely comments. I suspect it's private land but I will investigate:)
I quickly googled "Limekiln Wood" as I was sure I'd walked past this at some stage over the past few years. Anyway, turns out they are all over the UK, and I guess they must have done "what it says on the tin" - host or provide fuel for lime kilns?
A nice shot, anyway!
The white flowers are our ``Fluitekruit`` I guest.
@gardenfolk What a great idea!
@jgpittenger Thanks Jane, I do hope not:)
@365karly1 @collimama @redandwhite @sarahlth @hermann @bkbinthecity @lynnz @royrj @kwind @cmsch52 @pyrrhula @haskar @special4k @megpicatilly @suesouthwood Wow, I certainly didn't expect such a great response - thank you all so much for liking this pic and being adventurous:)
@peadar Thanks very much Peter - you need to Google Limekiln Wood Dover. It'll give you the exact location but I couldn't find out too much about it except it used to be used for clay pigeon shooting. Interesting that they are all over the place though.
