I saw northy's Ball of Wishes on here yesterday and admired it so much I thought I'd have a go but at a simplified version. Here it is!
This picture was taken a few days ago from the top of the Western Heights hills surrounding Dover. The White Cliffs are on the left and the Eastern Docks to the right. If you look closely you might be able to see the bright blue Banksy Brexit mural at the bottom of the globe.
@hermann Hi Sally, with great difficulty! I Googled 'how to make a 3D photo sphere using Elements 11' and found one by Chuck Delano. It's called 'Learn Photoshop Elements Best and Easiest 3D globe from any picture' and runs for 12:10 mins on YouTube. I wish I could say it only took me that length of time to manage to achieve it!! I did want to attempt something similar to Ball of Wishes but it need 25 separate pictures in the video I found so I bypassed that version:)
Thanks Felicity, the image is worth the effort. I don't have photoshop or lightroom or I guess the time to fiddle with my pics. Well done though on this great image. Must drag my crystal ball out again when I feel inspired :))
@jclaireyp@tonygig@haskar@royrj@alijchapman Thanks very much for commenting. I dabble in Photoshop when I just can't find a new subject to snap - seems to be happening more and more lately!
@gijsje @mv_wolfie Thanks so much
