Apologies for yet another seascape - I went to Folkestone this afternoon with the intention of buying a bunch of flowers and playing with textures. But the beach was only a stone's throw away and the tide was high. Seemed a great excuse to stop off and practice longish exposures and as there was rather a nice sunset going on at the same time, I never did get to the supermarket!
Much better than flowers, even with some texture thrown in!
This is so beautiful, the tide looks like a silk sheet and the tones in the sky are gorgeous
@yrhenwr I may be attempting these for some time! Don't really know what I'm doing here, it's just a case of experimenting but I think I now have a rough idea of what to do - sums up my photography really!
You can't have too many seascapes, and yours are all different and so well done. I really like the pink sunset and the soft sea. You are getting better and better at these. Fav
You can always get your flowers tomorrow. What a beautiful pink hue you’ve captured along with your long exposure. Do you usually go shopping with your camera and tripod ? ;)
@megpicatilly That's so kind of you! No, I dob't use an ND filter. I rely on gloomy conditions either pre dawn or pre sunset. Pre sunset is easier as focussing pre dawn in near darkness is difficult. I then just experiment. Am still trying for the 'liquid nitrogen' effect!
