One from yesterday's bunker visit. The door is iron but ravaged by rust. I have never seen anything so badly eaten away before. There were no windows in this particular bunker, just the light from two doorways. I don't know what we were treading on as we walked across the floor, I dread to think! At least we didn't find any bones.
What a great photo opportunity - but I'm pleased it wasn't just you and your trusty hound wandering around here - it looks a bit spooky. This image just has so much atmosphere and character.
