Great artwork. You must be rapt with England's success at the World Cup. I'm not a soccer fan at all, but even I watched the Australian team play. Soccer's not a major sport here but the Socceroos really captured the public imagination.
@golftragic I don't watch it at all but definitely felt chuffed when I found out they'd pulled it off yesterday - was standing in a queue at the supermarket at the time:) Sacrilege, I don't watch Wimbledon either!
At first glance it looks like an explosion in a paint factory, and then when you take a second look its beautiful. I hope it's meant to be like that!! Congrats on escaping the footy :)
@fbailey Watching Wimbledon is a big ask here, it's on at ungodly hours of the night. Some fanatics do sit up, but not us. Mind you, if there were an Aussie in a big match we may well make an exception. I do hope England does well, fingers crossed.
@fbailey I gather everyone's getting very excited (and fair enough too). I heard an interview with some pollie the other day which was conducted in the lobby of an hotel and punctuated by loud cheers as the England match concluded.
So good to have the street to yourself!
