Today is grey and not terribly inspiring so here's another from yesterday. No need to comment, I expect you're all very bored with this particular scene by now!
Fun to compare the color with the B/W although they are not composed exactly the same. I really love the tones in this image and the fence on the left.
@777margo This is Samphire Hoe, the nature reserve at the foot of the White Cliffs of Dover. Folkestone is visible in the far rhs and you can just about see the reflected light in the Channel in the distance on the lhs. The reserve was constructed from the millions of tonnes of chalk excavated when the Channel Tunnel was formed and was given its name for the wild Samphire which grows on the cliffs and Hoe means a piece of land that juts out into the sea. It is a special place grazed by both cattle and sheep and is home to various wild orchids.
I love all the different curves and the light that makes the landscape a bit pale
