One from yesterday evening's dog walk. I am useless at moon shots but felt I had to have an attempt at this. No tripod to hand so ISO had to be upped with resultant graininess.
This is very nice. The colour and the rocks are lovely.
Just in case you wanted it.....Skip Tribby taught me how to do moon shots:
ISO 200
f8
shutter speed 1/125
I use my only lens (!!) which is a 16-300 zoom and I use it just below the extreme and then crop the image. It gives brilliant clarity on the details of the moon with no blowout. I have never used a tripod, just handheld.
If you want other details in, you have to alter the shutter speed and f stop and then you're into playing with tripods. There are brilliant Astrophotographers on here who would know better than me. I am just a basics girl! I helped my son photograph his moon project for Astronomy GCSE, so took a whole cycle over a month and those settings worked well.
