Today it's the turn of Folkestone's Amphitheatre on the Lower Leas Coastal Park to feature for the Flash of Red February challenge - theme Architecture/Man Made. The grassy seating area can cater for an audience of 350, and just to the right of the path passing by the amphitheatre is a backdrop of the Channel. Both musical and theatrical events take place here during the summer months and are free to attend.
@lostphojo I can't find out exactly when it was built David. I have managed to find out that in 1784 a landslip created a new belt of land first developed in the 19th century and the 27 acre Lower Leas Coastal Park was created around 2006. It has to be fairly modern by that information but I only found it a year or so ago.
