Another from yesterday, 6 shots stitched together. I used the RAW files instead of the jpegs but didn't edit before stitching. The result was a little washed out so I added a Nik filter. Should I have used the jpegs or edited each RAW file before I started? Any advice gratefully received - would be v interested to know how others process panos.
@fbailey just phoned. One that had been invoiced Monday arrived today so it looks like tomorrow, they’ll phone and let me know. I didn’t intend going to town today - heavy rain- so no loss. Xx
The colors and your filter make it beautiful picture!
I had a play recently with putting a few shots together. I shot in manual with the same setting for each photos in a series. Then I used the Canon software on the individual RAW files, but made sure I did exactly the same to each photo. (That is easy in that program because you can easily copy the recipe to each photo).
Then I merged the photos in Photoshop and cropped it a little.
It became a long panorama, but I never posted it on 365.
You did a wonderful job with this. I often stitch or stack images together, with the use of Lightroom I tend to edit one then select that they are all edits are synced but either way you did a great job. Fav
Fantastic tones. I do not edit the raws before stitching them, unless there is too much difference in exposure. PS usually manages the stitching process very well. Easy fav, btw
I only tried this once - and have totally forgotten how to do it, so apologies no help from me. Which ever way you did, turned out seamlessly and a resultant great composition. Love the clouds and all that golden glistening.
I tend to do the stitching prior to editing to ensure consistent results. Lightroom and Photoshop do admirable jobs, esp the latest versions of each. The results you have here a quite gorgeous regardless of how your processed it!!
Lovely shot. I like the slightly muted colours and the reflections are fab. I haven't done any stitched panoramas so it's interesting reading everyone's processes.
@ingrid01@bubblequeen@domenicododaro@inthecloud5@aikiuser@jgpittenger Thanks very much to all of you, that's really useful. Normally I would have processed the RAW files individually had the sun been behind me but the sun was on the rhs (and I was being lazy)! Thanks again for your input.
