My Get Pushed challenge this week came from Wendy, and the brief was to combine multiple exposures to create the illusion of repeated objects using 3 or more of the same subject/object.
My camera, a DS3200, does have In Camera Overlay but I can only combine 2 images with this technique. So I resorted to Photoshop, used three separate pictures of poppies, played about with the sliders and overlaid the finished result with a background of the field they came from. It loses so much in b&w, so I left it with a hint of colour.
@wenbow Hi Wendy, I hope this is along the lines you asked for. I had great fun doing this, thanks for the challenge. I will try to produce another for you this week.
@maggiemae The poppy pictures were all taken separately on white card a few days ago. I faffed about a lot with the exposures to allow the blended images to show up the overlay layer of the poppy field. I guess really I didn't complete the challenge as Wendy possibly envisaged as my camera just hasn't got a multiple expodure function. So I had to wing it:)
Such an absolutely beautiful high key shot! Congrats on making top twenty with it. All of your responses to this challenge were wonderful and well done!
@farmreporter Thanks very much Wendy, that's so kind of you. It all came about as a happy accident as I didn't have a clue about this particular challenge:)
