My Get Pushed challenge this week was from Wendy who asked me to produce a tilt shift picture. This is my second attempt - this could become addictive! Shame the weather wasn't better this afternoon.
@wenbow Hi Wendy, this is my second attempt at your challenge. I had hoped to get nearer to the lorries but it was raining, and I'm very much a fair weather snapper!
PS We're Get Pushed partners again this week - Just an idea, but how about swapping our challenges from last week, you do tilt shift and I do hands/long exposure at night? Please say if this isn't suitable.
@casablanca You're speaking to a fellow bimbo, I had to Google it too! It's making something look like a toy or miniature scenario by taking it from an elevated angle, and then blurring the top and bottom thirds leaving the subject in sharp focus. That's the theory anyway!
@fbailey I see people say they are doing it but I have never worked out what that actually means! How do you get on it and how does it work? And can yoy opt out periodically?
@casablanca If you go to Discuss, Themes & Competitions, it's the 4th topic down and that should give you all the information you need. You just need to reply to say you'd like to be added to the list. And yes, you can opt out whenever you need/want to! Hope you join up:)
@fbailey I've emailed the boss man - I can't get the competitions to display on mine, so I can't see the posting about it. Might be a Safari thing or I might have a setting I know nothing about (I have hundreds of those, I have no doubt!)
@fbailey Thanks - I just get a blank page with northy's profile pic at the top but nothing else. Same with all the posts on the Themes and Competitions tab. All the other discussion tabs work but not that one, so I am wondering if it is an incompatibility with Safari.......waiting to hear back from Mr 365 Ross.

@northy Hi Northy! Thanks for the message - as I can't make the page load I still don't really understand what's involved? I'm interested, just not immediately as I am in the middle of dental surgery and other delights currently. I contacted Ross as the page just won't load for me - joys of technology! May I get back to you when my immediate medical stuff is past?
