Church Wall by filsie65

Church Wall

A close-up of our aged stone church wall, the lichens and moss caught my eye.
Took this last week and went back to do another today but found all the leaves have blown away in the weekend storm! This is much more colourful so don't check the date!

Gorgeous! I love the bokah in the background of the tree and the blanket of leaves on the ground. But the moss and lichen on the rock in the front is beautiful and interesting. Very clear details. Love it!

Great close-up of the decaying stone. I wonder how old it is. The colors are very nice.

I love this shot. If walls could talk, this one has a long story to tell.

@vernabeth @vernabeth I'm not sure how old the stone wall is but the church is over 600 years old.. the wall is still pretty solid but the ridge is less obvious in places which makes me think it has been around long enough for the weather to wear it away..
