Just a Raindrop by filsie65

Just a Raindrop

Found this hanging down from the water tray on the bird-feeder after a rainy old day. Tried taking a photo on the 'digital macro' setting which fuzzed the rest of the garden but I was amazed to see the reflection of the trees in the reflection of the drop. Cropped it and faded the edge to focus on the droplet.
Thank you so much to everyone who called by / commented on my traumatic experience yesterday. I really appreciate all your comments and would like to confirm that I will not be placing any apples on my head for future shots. No people were harmed in the taking of the photo but my hair looked decidedly greyer afterwards....!
That's a cool shot. Almost abstract. Lovely green tones and great reflection in the drop. Glad to hear you survived yesterday unharmed ;-)

It does have an abstract feel to it! Love your commentary too!! A few gray hairs are worth winning "the coolest mom ever" award from your son!
