Day and week has gone by in a blur..! Looked up this evening and saw this lovely crescent moon shining through the clouds saying 'come and snap me you know you want to...!' Yes I even oiked out my telescope in the rapidly decreasing temperatures and managed to grab a shot before the clouds closed in completely. Cropped and darkened it a little to get rid of a bit of the noise but otherwise tried to leave it alone and remember it how it was.
Tickled pink that my frosty feathers from my car windscreen got so many views and comments - thank you so much to everyone who took the time to stop by. Your support and cameraderie make this project so much easier and nicer. Have a great weekend everyone!
PS Should mention that my kids have always called this shape a 'cheshie cat moon' since we went to Disneyland Paris when they were young. I do like the thought of it smiling down on us all.
Looks like the moon is burning!quite fantastic: definitely need to try to take a picture of the moon! Not sure my camera can zoom enough but I'll give it a go... Once the good weather will come back
