Think this is about the last letter in my alphabet hunt - though March is not yet over..!
It started with Alpha and the last letter I am posting is Omega which seems appropriate. They are on opposite sides of our church porch and it was only doing this 365 project that I noticed them!
Thank you all zo much for the zuper comments on my Z shot as well as all the comments on my letters through the month! The alliteration was fun and so many of you were great sports joining in! Hope you might have enjoyed it as much as I did.
I have a couple more 'odd' things to post before the end of the month then back to something near my definition of Normal in April!
@helstor... is this anything like the O you mentioned? I'm afraid it's the closest I'm going to get! If I start on non-English letters I will get into all sorts of trouble and it may take me 'til August to finish with eg some of Tooki's ! :)
Phil, I don't even know if the letters display correctly on a PC set up for another language; the first one "Æ" is an A and an E combined (if we have a computer without a Norwegian keyboard we write it as "ae".. it sounds like the "a" sound in "bad"). The next one "Ø" is an O with a slash trough it (we write it as "oe" on a non Norwegian keyboard - sounds like the "i" sound in "bird"). The last one is an A with a circle above (written as "aa" on a non Norwegian keyboard - sounds like the "a" sound in "ball")
@helstor Not at all - I love languages... yes the letters come through looking as you describe, we sometimes use the ae together but not often. If I see any around I'll do my best but I won't hold my breath! :)
I bet you wish you never asked ;-))
