Well I should have known George wouldn't just get a pair of scissors... after the company had rung to see if I had really authorised a payment of £1300 to some company somewhere for something.... doesn't it feel awful when that happens. Thank goodness the fraud squad were on guard - they cancelled the card and George destroyed it rather completely! I love this shot, actually - the flames feel hot and if you look in the middle you can just see the card melting at the side! See it large if you feel like it!

OMG!! I had that happen to me once too... I was up here and someone was trying to charge $50 of gas in Texas.... automatic cancel of credit card and wait for new one... I used my shredder... I like George's idea much better!! It makes for a fantastic photo!
Sorry to hear about the attempted use on your credit card and the trouble that's going to cause, but good thing it was caught before any damage could be done. We've been living credit free for about a year. Hard!! But glad we're doing it. I scratched up all the magnetic strips and our names and then cut those cards into the smallest possible pieces. There's no way anyone would be able to piece that info together- but this way is certainly more entertaining! Nice flames!!
Fire is always lovely. Good way to destroy the card completely. Isn't George smart? Or he just wants to play with fire. I think all boy do, men too for that matter. Glad your credit wasn't similarly destroyed!
Fire is amazing to watch burn! Destroys completely...but with such beauty! Too bad about the fraudulent use of your credit...hope they can detect who and how it was done!
Love the shot Phil.... Some people just have a heck of a lot of nerve! There is a lot of that going on here in the past little while, just yesterday on the news were reports that the ATMs at the hospitals are being skimmed..how dreadful is that! Hope they catch them All!
