You can't see the face but I bet you know who it is! We joined around 130,000 people plus my sister and her family at Epsom Races for the Derby Day and were in an enclosure just feet away from the royal party when they arrived. George is taller than me so held the camera up to miss the double-railings while I cheerfully waved. We loved seeing one of the world's most famous faces at the beginning of her Diamond Jubilee weekend - for once we don't need a photo to remember it!
Grateful thanks to everyone who called by to see school's bonny bunting yesterday - I hope to have a little spare time today to call in and see your recent posts (and sit down!) Have a great weekend wherever you are!
Thankyou Ramesh @pawar_ramesh I managed to delete the photo while cropping it but appreciated your comment
“very nice shot Phil...I think you enjoyed races.....”
Yes I did - it was a wonderful day. thank you. Today I hope to recover my voice! :)
Ooh you're so lucky! I hate being on the wrong side of the world and missing out on the Jubilee fun, so I'm glad I can share it through my 365 friends!
I love that we can't see the face because that wave is something impersonators always pick up on so it is so symbolic of our monarch. Great personality shot!

I know when she was here I was like her own personal photographer as I was stalking her all over the city. :)
