My camera came with a nice little 'fisheye' setting. Felt worn out today but ventured a few steps into the garden to see what I could do. Loved the way the colours seemed to wrap around. Cropped and boosted it a little - view it on black if you feel so inclined.
Gosh almighty was I amazed at your reactions to my chinese lanterns yesterday... thank you so much for seeing it with fresh eyes! I loved the light shining through them but holding them up to the window only got silhouettes and a messy garden, hence the idea of splitting a white bin bag and taping it to the window behind it. The stems were resting slightly on the pane, hence the 'cross' shape showing. Thank you all so so much for viewing and taking the time to leave such kind comments. Have a cracking week
Wow, this is an interesting view. Does the "fisheye" setting cause it to look like a circle, or do the plants really grow like this. It's really lovely.
Your lanterns made the PP btw so congrats on that! This is a great shot with cool effects. Love the colors and I like how they curve up toward each other. Well done, Phil!
@filsie65 In response to my friend... It's my sweetheart and he's in the cardiac unit of the hospital. He's been there since Friday. I am going nuts because I can't be there. Updates from his sister each day but it's not enough. But when I asked to come he said no. My heart's broken. I should give you my email addy since you don't have FB so we could at least write that way instead of having to use 365 this way.
