X is for Antique Treadle

We had a charity scrap metal collection last year, all sorts of junk were thrown away but included were this lovely old treadle from a sewing machine and a few other bits I couldn't bear to see melted down or crushed.. so I rescued and bought them! No idea what I was planning for it but despite the rust I do like to see the patterns in the metal, and today it came in very handy!
(I used a wide selected soft-focus in picmonkey too... once it was up all I could see were a huge pair of long glasses-shape!)
Was I Wowed by your Wonderful Words on my W shot? Well yes I Was! Thank you all so much :)

Now to find a Y-shaped Beatle. (!!) Have a great weekend everyone :)
OMG I had sewing lessons on these at school..well to be precise the one the school had, they always went backwards..much prefer electric!! fabulous idea ....I also bought one and had a top made as a table......xcentric?!!

So right the treadle must not be melted down, not when you can work magic like this with it! I had one converted to lecky, gosh those were the days when I sewed.......................

Xcellent shot! Your subconscious made you do it knowing it had plans. We tend to do things on a whim and there is purpose down the road! Well done, Phil! :)
