Back from a few days in York with my friend. We walked the city walls (never have 2 miles felt so long!) then made our way 'round to the National Railway Museum.. one of the boys from school had told us all about it and we loved it! This is the scene that greeted us when we went to view the royal trains. Ah, they don't do it like that any more!

@prttblues Yes, there's a royal coat of arms on the front. Each successive royal family had their own train so that they could visit the nation in comfort until only recently. The insides were decked out with little sitting rooms, bedrooms, even bathrooms, like miniature moving apartments! :)
