We have towering grape hyacinths here in middle England...! It's actually not much taller than my finger, and yes, I took this lying on the floor beside the stone trough.. :)
Before doing 365 I had no idea that the little bobbles were like little blue knickerbockers with white lace edging. An eye-opener for me at least.
